Skull Nectar

Medium: Ebony graphite pencil and prismacolor

Most of the pictures I've uploaded here I renamed because the files didn't have a true title on them, but "Skull Nectar" was the title this was already saved as. Great job, past me. That's sick as heck.

This was the first piece I did in AP studio art, if I recall correctly. It was definitely the first piece I did in one of my classes with the same teacher. I remember being a bit intimidated to start off with both realism and skulls. It still lacks a bit of polish that some of my later pieces had, but it was a pretty solid start, I think.

I was a big fan of this specific bark texture back in high school. I think it was a bit inspired by the Kingdom Hearts paopu tree.
